If you follow our social networks, you must have realized that we are big fans of Armin van Buuren and his contagious trance music. Now, what you may not know, Armin has a radio show that has been on air since 2001, taking the trance to all corners of the world, the famous A State of Trance, or popularly saying, ASOT!
What was born as a weekly online radio show, in collaboration with the Dutchman Ruben de Ronde, over the years has become one of the biggest trance festivals in the world! The 900 episode will take place on 23rd February 2019, at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the Netherlands, with an expected audience of 30,000 people in a single day.
Scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., the festival will host 5 stages: Mainstage, Who’s Afraid of 138?!, Psy Stage, Progressive Stage and Road To 1000: Lifting You Higher, packed with the main names of the trance scene world, check it out:
Hailed by many fans, the Who’s Afraid of 138?! will return to the festival, and if you do not know, this stage is the result of a joke that came out during one of the legendary live shows of the A State of Trance 550 tour, when Armin van Buuren came up with a new statement: ‘Who’s afraid of 138?!’. Referring to the booming bass of the harder, faster and most certainly louder type of tunes in the trance genre, it became a slogan and motto for everyone into that sound.
And it doesn’t stop there, another novelty is that the festival will start with Armin van Buuren playing a warm up set in vinyl, so those who arrive early, will have the opportunity to enjoy 3 presentations from the creator of this monumental event and we can hardly wait for this!
Tickets are available here but if you can not travel to the Netherlands to enjoy these vibez, do not worry, ASOT 900 will pass through other countries, such as Spain, on March 9 in the city of Madrid and in the Ukraine, on June 22 in the city of Kiev. And since hope is the last one to die, come get to know about the campaign that the we’re super supporting, to bring the ASOT 900 to Brazil!
