The headliner of countless New Year’s Eve parties around Brazil, Sam Feldt told us the news in an exclusive interview!

With a mix of tropical house, deep and electro pop, Sam Feldt has been conquering a legion of followers wherever he goes. And it could not be different, a multitalented artist from the Dutch DJ industry, he is now a great reference for many new talents, as he has his own weekly radio show, which has been an incredible tool for discovering new sounds, support for new DJs.
Sam also has a mega production in his presentations, with even a live band, with a trumpeter (Quirin), a saxophonist (Tariq) and a guitarist (Jordi). With a set full of energy, no one can stand still at any moment. We can tell you this! And if you’ve been anxious to check out this Dutchman in Brazil, join us in this chat we did with Sam during the ADE 2018!
Tell us a little more about “Heaven (Don’t Have a Name)” and it’s creation process!
Sam:My new track “Heaven (Don’t Have a Hame)” with Jeremy Renner is a little bit different from the tropical tunes I did before, it’s more cinematic in the breaks and it’s unintentionally that way and Jeremy was of course a great actor and this cinematic and dramatic voice that he has, I wanted to do something special and bring up the best of his vocal abilities and we basically met each other when we performed the track for the first time, that’s a bit weird but he recorded some vocals in L.A. and I liked, then we send a few versions back and forth and it all happened over into a day basically.
Can you choose one of your productions as your favorite?
Sam: I just kind of question this, it’s very hard to pick one because I’ve done over 100 tracks, maybe even more, just on my album last year I wrote 24 tracks so it’s really hard to decide which one is my personal favorite and I’m also always a bit unbiased it’s a bit subjective, because usually, it’s my latest one because it’s the freshest one and newest one and yeah if I had to say one, it’s the latest one right now.
And for 2019, what can we expect?
Sam: For 2019 I’m releasing one more single this year at the end of the year and I think another single following up that with a great singer that I had the honor to work with for a long time, I can’t give you the name yet but I will find out.
I think a have a EP coming up early next year as well and we have Miami coming up and of course I will do my pool party again, busy schedule, I’m back on the road from Asia to the USA. And Brazil yeah, end of the year I will be back in the beautiful country Brazil for new years eve and also other dates around I think maybe even 7 shows I will be doing in Brazil.
Leave a comment for your Brazil fans:
Sam: I love Brazil! I love coming back! I was there in new year’s eve last year and I liked so much that I’m coming back this year to your beautiful country and I will be back for I think even maybe 7 shows so come to find me!
